Peyton did put some of his time to good use while being stuck in the house. He had to do a project for school celebrating the 100th day of school. The project had to be something consisting of 100 items and grouped in a manner so that the kids could easily count to 100. Here's his jellybean art.
He did a really great job of sorting all the colors, counting them out in groups of 10 and then glued everything to the page. It was a lot of fun to be able to have some time to sit down with just the two of us and watch him work so hard to do his own project.
Jaxson also decided to put his time to good use. He's WALKING!!! I'm so proud of our little man! He's taken about 7 steps at one time. Crawling is still much faster for him and if he catches you watching him while he's trying to walk he'll just fall down and laugh, but he's doing great.
Here he is standing on his own. I think he's just about mastered this part.
He's actually walking towards me in this picture.
Just look at the smile in these pictures. He seems to really love his new found freedom!!
Yay! I love the 100 days project! My daughters both did sticker collections for their 100 days this year! So much fun! Way to go Jaxson!!!! Love the great pictures you got of him taking off!!! He is going to be running in no time now! Look out!!!
ReplyDeleteCool jelly bean 100 day project, very good work! What great pictures of Jaxson enjoying his steps! Awesome!

ReplyDeleteOh that is such great news about Jaxson's new found freedom! He does look incredibly happy! That is a megawatt smile! I am sorry the boys were sick. Hopefully everyone is on the mend. Peyton looks like he put a lot of effot into that project. Good for him! It came out great!
ReplyDeleteI hope both boys are feeling better now!

Way to go, Jaxson! It is so exciting when our kiddos start to walk, and he looks so happy and proud in those pictures!
Hi Paula, I just stumbled across your blog. We are Facebook friends, I am Ethan's mom (4&1/2 yr old achon). Jaxson is adorable! He looks so proud of himself! Seems like so long ago when Ethan was at that stage! Time really does fly!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Jaxson on walking. I remember it like it was yesterday. Such a good feeling when Aidan started walking!
